A raíz de la noticia según la cual Ghislaine Maxwell intentó destruir su celular y huir cuando agentes del FBI llegaron a aprehenderla a la casa donde se escondía, en la W Radio el periodista Lucas Pombo mencionó este martes 14 un descubrimiento periodístico del director de El Unicornio, un Confidencial de Semana publicado el 24 de marzo de 2007 que en uno de sus apartes decía:
“El expresidente Andrés Pastrana invitó a dos magnates de las comunicaciones, Theodore Waitt, propietario del emporio de tecnología de Sistemas, Gateway Inc., y la inglesa Ghislaine Maxwell, heredera del conglomerado Maxwell Communication, a conocer Ciudad Perdida en el Parque Tayrona”.
