No solo la actual vicepresidenta tiene un hermano en problemas de narcotráfico, como se conoció esta semana. En 1993 agentes encubiertos de la DEA capturaron en Miami por lavado de dólares al ministro consejero de Colombia en Uruguay, Gustavo Enrique Pastrana Gómez, primo hermano de Andrés Pastrana Arango.
“Yo estoy en capacidad de lavar unos dos millones de dólares semanalmente a través de bancos uruguayos, argentinos y colombianos”, habría explicado Pastrana a interlocutores suyos sin saber que eran agentes de la principal agencia antinarcóticos estadounidense.
El artículo de Semana que reseña la noticia cuenta que cuando se produjo la captura, Pastrana demostró una torpeza asombrosa. “Las cifras del negocio -7.500 dólares de comisión- eran insignificantes y demostraban la falta de malicia del novato lavador de dólares. Su imprudencia llegó al punto de firmar un recibo donde constaba que había recibido dinero del narcotráfico para lavarlo”. (Ver noticia).
Y agrega la revista: “pero lo más grave de Pastrana no fue su torpeza, sino su lengua. Según la DEA, habría dicho a los agentes encubiertos que su primo Andrés había sido alcalde de Bogotá y que posiblemente sería el nuevo presidente de Colombia”.
Esa afirmación no solo terminó de hundirlo, sino que dejó mal parado al candidato de la Nueva Fuerza Democrática, Andrés, quien inicialmente había sido involucrado en el caso, de forma verbal, por el juez argentino Roberto Marquevich.
“En una investigación de la DEA llevaba a cabo en Estados Unidos con la cooperación de la unidad antidrogas de la Policía Federal Argentina, para buscar a otras personas, aparecieron relacionados los apellidos Pastrana Gómez”, señala el informe.
También añade que para esa época Andrés Pastrana se encontraba en plena campaña política y cuando la DEA convocó a una rueda de prensa en Miami para contar los detalles de la información, la cancillería le advirtió al Gobierno de Estados Unidos que por cuenta de una persona no se podía “mancillar la imagen de un país”. Eso fue suficiente para suspender la rueda de prensa.
Sea como fuere, la familia Pastrana estuvo de buenas, porque apenas 24 horas después de la captura de su pariente fue dado de baja Pablo Escobar, de modo que la noticia quedó sepultada. Como lo señala la publicación, 24 horas después de todo este episodio, la muerte de Pablo Escobar hizo olvidar el tema.
Ahora bien, en un artículo de El Tiempo que cubrió la detención de Gustavo Pastrana, se leía que “en abril de 1988 Claudia Venegas Pastrana, también familiar de los Pastrana, fue capturada en el aeropuerto Eldorado, con 13.804 gramos de cocaína”. (Ver noticia)
Andrés Pastrana fue elegido presidente en 1998 y nombró a Marta Lucia Ramírez como su ministra de Comercio Exterior, solo un año después de que ella había pagado la fianza de 150.000 dólares para liberar a su hermano condenado por tráfico de heroína.
Si nos situamos en el presente, así como Marta Lucía Ramírez está siendo cuestionada por no haber revelado nunca que había pagado fianza de 150.000 dólares por un hermano preso por narcotráfico, Andrés Pastrana está en el ojo de la sospecha nacional por un viaje que hizo en el avión conocido como Lolita Express, del pedófilo Jeffrey Epstein, a su isla privada de las islas Bahamas.

Todos estos informes, muchos de ellos ya sabidos por mucha gente del común del pueblo, deja sin piso el argumento de que tropas extranjeras vienen a estas tierras a perseguir el narcotráfico, si acaso persiguen , lo harán con los narcos que obstaculisen su camino ya que ellos sólo ven criminales en aquellos que muestran alguna idea soberana, algún rastro de intención de defensa de recursos naturales o derechos humanos.Estos huéspedes forzados, que se han autoinvitado, apoyados solo por una minoría que gobierna parapetada en el tráfico de drogas, deja al descubierto al talante de los recién llegados, los cuales tienen por tradición hacer uso de las mafias de todo tipo para consolidar su poder economico o politico. la historia de “Las Vegas” es una buena muestra de ello, así como la consolidación de estructuras mafiosas mucho más fuertes, donde quiera que han puesto su bota en el mundo.La clees politica Norteamericana está tan metida en el narcotráfico como la Colombiana la Boliviana.El cinismo estas gentes no tiene límites.
